Brent Folsom, M.D.
Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Brent Folsom’s goal is to use his unique training and experiences to provide every patient he treats with high quality care that also aligns with their individual goals. Prior to his career in Medicine, Dr. Folsom served in the United States Army for 5 years; an experience that included two years in Germany and two tours in Iraq. Following his time in the military, he attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Folsom earned his Doctor of Medicine from the highly regarded University of Michigan Medical School. While earning his medical degree, Dr. Folsom also obtained his Master of Business Administration and continued his medical training with an Internal Medicine internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, Michigan.
Dr. Folsom performed his dermatology-specific residency training at one of the top dermatology residency programs in the South, Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He treated a variety of patients in multiple settings including Emory University Hospitals, Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta VA Hospital, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Hospitals.
