An excellent practice, all friendly and agile memories. My mother has some very complex autoimmune problems that we kind of threw at Waccamaw with a big question mark, and they have been all over it. As someone who generally views a doctor’s office as a place of voluntary torture, admitting that I actually enjoy visiting Waccamaw Dermatology is a massive plot twist.

Dr. Ruth McTighe and her stellar nurse, Kelly, successfully treated me for both melanoma and basal cell carcinoma. Getting that kind of diagnoses is terrifying, but this duo handled it with the perfect blend of elite medical expertise and genuine human warmth.

Kelly is an absolute gem! She kept me calm, comfortable, and laughing through procedures that would normally have me plotting my escape out the nearest window. Dr. McTighe is brilliant, meticulous, and reassuring. Her sharp eye and professional care turned a scary situation into a completely manageable and oddly pleasant experience.

If you have to get your skin checked, this is the team to see. I still don't like going to doctors, but I genuinely don't mind seeing the fantastic team at Waccamaw Dermatology. They quite literally saved my skin, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Cheryl Zeidman and the staff at Waccamaw Dermatology are wonderful. Dr. Zeidman is very knowledgeable and willing to find resolutions to things she may not even encounter on the regular. This is by far the best dermatology practice I have been to. The staff is amazing, especially Dr. McTighe and Kelly. They truly care about your needs and do everything they can to treat and heal your issues. I have recently become a patient at Wacamaw Dermatology  and I cannot say enough good things about this practice..  I came to them for a specialty treatment and have already decided that I will make them my Primary for dermatology care. I started bringing my daughter to the Summerville location after the Sumter location closed. And so far we are very pleased with how friendly the staff are and how knowledgeable they are as well. Helping my daughter regain her confidence back and we’ve been on the road to clear skin since remaining a Waccamaw Dermatology girlie. Well worth the 1hr and 10 min drive! The dermatologist has never been my favorite type of doc to visit, but Cheryl Z and her staff are thorough, calm and a pleasure to visit. Cheryl Zeidman has been a life saver! She has helped me so much with my skin issues. A skilled physician, caring, personable, and, approachable.
