Pennie McLeod

Executive Assistant

Pennie McLeod is Waccamaw Dermatology’s referral coordinator. She was born and raised in Charleston, SC but has called Myrtle Beach home since 2018.  Pennie received her PCT certificate and Associates in Science degree from Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC.

Pennie is also an 11 years cancer-free breast cancer survivor. She previously worked in veterinary medicine for 18 years but decided she wanted to work with people once she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having cancer changed her outlook on life and she thought she could help others one day with her story. Pennie shows everyone empathy that has been told they have cancer and feels she can relate to each of our skin cancer patients.

In her free time she loves to spend time with her daughter and husband, be out on the water, and root for Clemson, GO TIGERS!

Dr. Coakley and staff are by far the best professional, personable and efficient folks I have ever dealt with. I have had well over nine different surgeries over the years at four other dermatologists offices. I would highly recommend Waccamaw Dermatology and especially Dr. Coakley. A special shout out to Holly who is so good at what she does.

Everyone was so professional, friendly and went out of their way to make me comfortable. The staff, PA’s and Mohs surgeons are definitely top notch. Highly recommend if you want the best care!

Been a patient of Dr. Bibb for ten years, top notch every visit, very knowledgeable and caring. I have referred many people, goes above and beyond, glad I found him when I moved here.

The staff at Waccamaw Dermatology were super kind and caring through the entire process. Everyone I interacted with at this location, and the Pawleys Island location were amazing. This could have been a much more terrifying experience had it not been for the awesome staff. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service, and I’ve already recommended it to several friends.
